And the Advanced Marketer?

So far, I have come to the conclusion that advanced training in Internet and affiliate marketing industry is non existent. (I would love to be challenged on this. If you know of advanced training please let me know). While I am a big proponent of continued training, the apparent lack of it seems understandable.

We are an independent crowd. It seems to be in the nature of the individual affiliate marketer to strike out on his/her own as soon as possible. There is no doubt that getting off the ground in this industry either needs a highly gifted person or a good deal of basic information to get on ones feet. But after that, it all seems to be catch-as-catch-can.

As I have said on other pages, there is allot more training available today than when I started. The character of the individual affiliate marketer, however, seems to be wrought in stone. We are all, succeed or fail, entrepreneurs. And it is that very nature that doesn't allow a structured training program to continue in to the advanced stages of the affiliate marketers career.

So if any of you visiting here are old sods, like me, hoping to sift off just a little more advanced knowledge or theories to add to your voluminous mental warehouses, it will have to wait until there is something to offer here beyond my dull ruminations.
